Once upon a time, in the diamond city Surat, there lived a girl who fell in love with stories before she could even read. Her special skill? “Pretend reading” newspapers upside down. Yep, that’s me in a nutshell!

That’s what happens when you’re raised in a book-loving, over-expressive family with zero chill but lots of heart.

I grew up in a home where books weren’t just books—they were treasures. My grandfather would bring storybooks and magazines from his office library, and I’d flip through the pages, completely mesmerised. While other kids played with toys, I played with magazines (because apparently, toddler me had priorities).

One of my earliest memories? Curling up with Champak at home, totally lost in its stories. Fast forward to school days—while my classmates groaned about new textbooks, I was the weirdo who finished reading all the Gujarati, Hindi, and English stories before classes even started. Sometimes, I even devoured social studies—yep, history and geography included. Nerd alert? Maybe. Regrets? Absolutely none.

A Little More About Me…

Genres I adore: Rom-coms, mythology, and anything with a happy ending. Give me a book where the characters flirt, banter, and live happily ever after, and I’m sold.

Genres I avoid like bad WiFi: Horror and psycho-thrillers. Nope, I refuse to sleep with the lights on. Excessive violence? Nah, I like my peace.

Weird but true: I have this uncanny ability to find humour in the most mundane, boring situations. You might be standing in a long queue, sighing in frustration, and I’d already have a hilarious story forming in my head.

The ‘Aha!’ Moment

For years, writing was just something I did for fun—random thoughts, personal musings, witty one-liners. Then, one day, I casually posted something on social media, and boom! People loved it. That’s when it hit me—hey, maybe I should do this more often! And not just writing, but designing, creating, and pouring my creativity into something that’s truly me.

And that’s how Tales Beyond Pages was born.

When I’m Not Writing…

You’ll find me binge-watching Netflix rom-coms or deep-diving into Insta and YouTube shorts (guilty pleasure alert!).

Trekking through nature because fresh air and mountain views are life.

Occasionally stalking people—purely for investigative purposes, of course. I swear, I’d make a killer detective.

Spending time at the Art of Living Ashram, doing a course, or just soaking in the wisdom of my master, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji.
